Ivan Jovanović has been dancing for more than 20 years. He was competing as ballroom dancer, until he fell in love with the concept of social dances, around 2006, mainly because of the Cuban salsa and Argentine tango. He is the founder of “Buena Vista” dance school, which is recognized as the leader in Montenegro when it comes to Cuban salsa, Argentine tango and Afro-Cuban dances.
He used the opportunities presenting themselves over the past several years to learn from some of the best Cuban dancers and teachers in the world, such as Yanek Revilla, Diana Rodriguez, Alberto Valdes, “Los aspirinas” family, Yoannis Tamayo, Tereza Castaneda, Sergio Larrinaga, Alexander Carbo, Yunaisy Farray, Jorge Camaguey, FredyClan, Juan Ortiz, Yanet Fuentes, Yeni Molinet, Yoandy Villaurrutia etc.
He was also part of instructor teams during many festivals/seminars in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary and Macedonia, where he enjoyed the experience of sharing and passing on his knowledge of and passion for dance.
