Boštjan Fajdiga

He made his first encounter with Argentine tango in 1998 in Ljubljana-SLO and then he continued to study this magical dance with different teachers in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands and UK. In 2001 he joined the dance group “El Fuego” in Ljubljana and participated at their show at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. In 2003-2005 he cooperates with the musicians Distango and Funtango on their concerts and his performance with dance partner Varja Vitorovič on Tango Festival in the castle Geverkneg was filmed by TV SLovenia. He has leading role in TV spot for the Slovenian mobile phone operator Mobitel »Mobitel Valentine 2005« From 2006 to 2009 he worked as a tango teacher in the organization Tango.si from Ljubljana. From 2010 to 2011 was co-founder and tango teacher in dance organization TANGO DEL MAR from Rijeka-CRO. He’s recent performing was on a big stage of Concert Hall Vatroslav Lisinski (Zagreb-CRO) in musical & dance spectacle »Tango de mi vida« with Quintet Beltango with dance partner Lucija Lovrič-CRO and other two couples Gustavo Rosas & Gisele Natoli and Angel Coria & Claudia Sortino.

His workshop Tango vs Kizomba is adopted for Kizomba dancers. Kizomba with closed embrace and leading from the chest looks very similar to tango, but when we look closer we discover that footwork and lowerbody technic of Kizomba is very different from Argentine tango. After that class Kizomba dancers should be able to go directly to some Milonga and dance tango
