Varja Vitorovič

Varja Vitorovič was competing in latin dances till the year 2000, then she fell inlove with salsa and argentine tango. Since then she became activly involve in both and together with her ex dance partner opened a salsa dance school called La Rosa Negra, after few years she decided for a solo teaching career, specialized for dancers and smaller groups of people. She was also a member and one of three co-founders of one of the best slovenian salsa dance groups called Caliente. She was also a dancer for salsa band called Cubismo, which is active particularly in the south part of Europe. She has perfomed in many salsa events all over Euorope (Spain, England, Italy, Croatia, …)Varja is now also involved with brazilian samba, and is performing it with her colegue Špela Stramšek-Shayala.

Rok & Varja: Rok and Varja have been dancing together for 10 years now, they have performed all over Europe and also in New York. They are stil first and and only professional dance couple that is performing and teaching salsa, bachata, and zouk in Slovenija and all arround the world. They are inlove with NY Style of salsa, which they perfected by the leadership of their mentor Nelson Flores, who is one of the founders of this style. In year 2011 Rok and Varja introduced a new dance-Brazilian Zouk, to Slovenija, and also to the countries of ex Jugoslavija. They are the first teachers of this style of zouk in this part of Europe.They are co-owners of dance studio Dancefloor in Ljubljana.
